Old Navy

Manager, assistant manager and cashiers are not properly trained on how to handle gift cards in store. My sons purchase was declined after presenting a gift card, cashier kept telling my son he had a zero balance on card, neither of the employees knew how to handle the issue. I had to call customer relations, they were able to bring up the transaction with the time stamp where the cashier charged 100.00 on the gift card. After the in store employees didn’t follow the appropriate protocol to check their POS system. My thought was, in house employees are stealing gift card information and taking advantage of the customers.

I bought a new shirt at OLD NAVY. When I got home I realized the shirt had two big rips in it. I went back to exchange it, but they said there was nothing they could do about. I showed the manager that I hadn’t even undone the top shirt button yet, which I never button back up to hang a shirt. We used to buy most our family clothes here. I spoke to MANAGER ASHLEY and she said she would rather lose all our business then exchanging the shirt. BYE OLD NAVY

I ordered online a bunch of dresses in different sizes because I didn't know my size! I live 2 hours away from the closet store being this one. I then had a family emergency and had to travel to Florida. By the time I got back all dresses had arrived at my house in New mexico. I then went to this store in lubbock with receipt in hand and was refused a refund because the items were 1 day past the return date.......they were going 30 days off the order date instead of the actual delivery date which was ridiculous. The worker said I could do a no receipt return for store credit knowing my stuff was over the limit so of course I was denied. I now know there is a $$ limit. So I sent my mother and father in with the order split to return the dresses to get store credit so I could atleast buy something in the correct size. It's sad that someone with proof of purchase was denied but someone with no receipt could easily obtain a gift card. There should of been a way for the store to give me store credit atleast since I had a receipt showing I had spent $150. It's always the person who "could of stole" the dresses and returned them to get store credit. Makes no sense on the return policy. This is 2023 return policies should be longer then 30 days....especially when tour selling the exact items for 5 months of summer. Unfortunately I won't be shopping at old navy again! I tried to be honest and was denied.

It would help if the cashier would listen, my wife had 3 or 4 shirts she was buying and wanted them left on the hangers and not to be pit in a bag, the cashier said ok, and still bc she thought it would be better to put them in a bag anyway so others would not think we stole them! Well I belive I don't care what others think and I also belive I would have a receipt so if any one that mattered wanted to know I could show them that I did in fact pay for them!
